Job summary

Abbott in Casa Grande, Arizona seeks a Night Shift Operator 2 Production within the Tetra unit to follow procedures and manufacture products per schedules, costs and quality standards.

You will handle filling, sealing and sterilization processes, operate related equipment, and ensure safety and housekeeping while supporting the team and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• You'll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate retort or aseptically sterilizing, filling and sealing of Infant and Medical Nutritionals.
• Operate related filling, processing and sterilizing equipment and perform sampling responsibilities.
• Maintain safety, general housekeeping and team support.
• Operate finishing equipment as needed (depalletizer, labeler, casepacker, capper, etc.).
• Operate machines and production equipment safely per instructions.
• Monitor output quality and identify faulty products for disposal or rework.
• Maintain accurate daily production records and complete Batch Audits.

Night Shift Operator 2 Production - Tetra - Casa Grande, AZ

The Production operator will follow established procedures and guidelines to manufacture the organization's products according to production specifications and schedules, volume, cost, and wastage targets, and quality standards.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• The Production Operator is responsible for all tasks associated with retort or aseptically sterilizing, filling and sealing of Infant and Medical Nutritionals.
• Functions include, but are not limited to the operation of all related filling, processing and sterilizing equipment and sampling responsibilities.
• The operator will also be responsible for safety, general housekeeping and team support.
• Operators may also be required to operate finishing equipment (depalletizer, labeler, casepacker, capper, etc.)
• Operate machines and production equipment safely and in accordance with instructions.
• Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
• Maintain accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analyzed.
• Complete Batch Audits

SHIFT

Please note: This is a 12-hour Night shift position from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and allows you to have every other weekend off.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
