Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Casa Grande, AZ, is seeking a production operator for our Nutrition manufacturing plant. You will safely operate production equipment, perform sampling, maintain a clean workspace, and communicate across the team to meet quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of production experience. The 12-hour dayshift runs 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM with every other weekend off; forklift experience is a plus, and teamwork is essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate production equipment, including filling, processing, and sterilizing systems.

• Communicate effectively with team members and across all levels of the plant.
• Replenish and maintain production materials as needed.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks.

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One year production experience
• Must be able to work effectively within a team environment, possess excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• One year production experience within food manufacturing environment
• Forklift experience preferred

The base pay for this position is $17.15 – $34.25 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
