Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Bridgeton, MO is hiring a Production Operator for the 1st shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday). You will load components into automated assembly, document production, and ensure parts meet quality standards.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and basic data entry and reading ability. Candidates with at least 6 months of manufacturing experience and good teamwork skills will fit well; lifting up to 30 pounds and standing for extended periods

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret operator instructions and quality sheets.
• Basic computer/data entry skills for recording production data.
• Strong teamwork and communication in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Load component parts into automated assembly following work instructions.
• Record production data and inspect parts for quality per check sheets.
• Label and pack output as instructed and document any issues with parts or machinery.
• Escalate non-conforming parts or equipment to team leaders or supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support audits.
