Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions in Memphis, TN is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join our production team. You will operate equipment safely, meet production standards, and support quality across shifts.

• Experience in a fast-paced, Manufacturing Environment.
• Must have the willingness and ability to effectively communicate with peers, supervisors and other levels of the organization to create a positive, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic Math skills such as addition, subtraction and taking measurements.
• Must be willing to work evening or night shift and weekends as needed based on business need.

Responsibilities

• Operate all manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.

• Responsible for safety and quality throughout the production process, including following all safety procedures and performing manual and visual quality inspection of products as assigned.
• Responsible for cleaning equipment and area before, during, and after shift.
• May be responsible for sorting product as needed to ensure quality shipments.
• Assist in changeovers when needed.
• Is responsible for cross-training across multiple operations such as presses, palletizers, seamers and/or slitters.
• Responsible for working directly with team members to meet all safety, quality and productivity goals.
• Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager.
