Job summary

Smurfit Westrock plc’s Florence, SC mill is seeking a Production Team Member who will support operating areas with a strong safety mindset. You will work in a team to follow SOPs, communicate effectively, and contribute to environmentally responsible operations.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years of related manufacturing experience, ability to read a tape measure, and the capacity to work rotating 12-hour shifts, weekends, and overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of continuous full-time work experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts and overtime as required.
• Commitment to safety and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support mill processes following standard operating procedures.
• Communicate effectively within a team.
• Follow all safety requirements and environmental policies.
• Maintain quality and report issues promptly.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, navigate stairs, stand, walk for long shifts.
