Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Florence, SC is seeking a Production Team Member to support daily mill operations with a strong safety mindset and reliable teamwork. The role requires reading a tape measure, basic math, and the ability to perform rotating 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, noisy environment.

Qualified applicants will have at least a high school diploma and 2 years of continuous full-time work experience (manufacturing preferred).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of continuous full-time work experience, preferably in manufacturing/production.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math, reading, writing and computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, have mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and overtime as required.
• A strong Safety mindset and a commitment to work safely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend and kneel throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to work in noisy environments, around chemicals, high heat, and be exposed to weather conditions.
