Job summary

Lingo Staffing is hiring an experienced Machine Operator for a leading manufacturing partner in Covington, VA. The role involves setting up, starting, operating, and light maintenance on manufacturing machinery while assisting in other areas.

Shifts are 12 hours rotating (6am-6pm or 6pm-6am) on a 2-2-3 schedule; pay is $18/hour with a temp-to-perm opportunity. Candidates should have a HS diploma/GED and prior manufacturing experience, plus the ability to follow instructions and communicate

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Must have previous experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions; communicate clearly.
• Willing to clean for at least the first two weeks before training.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, operation, and light maintenance on manufacturing machinery while also assisting in other areas.
• Assisting other departments by emptying bags, sweeping, building boxes, and rework.
