Job summary

Sellars Absorbent Materials, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for a 12-hour rotating schedule (2-2-3). The role offers a $25 base hourly rate plus a $2 shift premium, with bonuses for production and attendance.

You will operate and troubleshoot a long, hot-running machine and lift up to 50 lbs. Required are 1–3 years of troubleshooting/repair experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years in troubleshooting, adjusting and basic machine repairs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with heights and operating lifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot a 75 ft long machine.
• Assist with equipment setup, adjustments, changes overs and operation.
• Test quality and process finished product.
• Collaborate with team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
