Job summary

Constellium Deutschland GmbH is offering manufacturing area opportunities: Element 13, Casthouse, Hot rolling, Cold Rolling and Sheet Finishing. Candidates will adhere to safety procedures and operate equipment to support the APU’s processes.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, 1–3 years manufacturing experience, be able to pass basic skills tests, lift 50 pounds, and work a 12‑hour night shift on a 3‑2‑2 schedule with overtime. Pre-placement testing and tobacco-free environment apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must pass a basic skills assessment (Reading comprehension, Math, Inspection and measuring and Monitoring/Problem solving).
• Must be 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Excellent attendance and safety record.
• Must be willing to work in a tobacco‑free environment.
• Must be able to work a 3‑2‑2 schedule that includes every other weekend, holidays, and overtime.
• Able to work 12‑hour shifts (No Shift Rotation). New employees should anticipate being assigned to night shift, with opportunity to bid on different shifts after initial training period.
• Must be able to work in a factory/manufacturing environment with exposure to heat/cold conditions.
• All offers are contingent upon successfully completing pre-placement testing (background screen, drug screen and physical).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions immediately.
• Operate mobile equipment and machine operations to support the APU’s process and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ability to multitask, pay attention to detail and precision and have good, effective communication.
• Perform other general tasks as assigned by management.
