Job summary

Johns Manville Bremen facility is hiring a Production Operator for a 24/7 operation. The role is part of our Pay-For-Skills program, with pay increases as new skills are learned and qualifications are met. You will join a high-performing team manufacturing insulation products for US markets.

We value reliability, safety, and teamwork. Candidates should have warehouse/production experience, basic math and PC skills, and be able to operate forklifts and read technical instructions.

Qualifications

• At least one year in a warehouse/production environment.
• Able to read a tape measure and understand work instructions.
• Solid basic math skills (add/sub/mul/div/percent).
• Basic to intermediate computer skills (MS Office).
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Must wear PPE and stand long periods on cement floors.

Responsibilities

• Understand production schedule and product specs.
• Troubleshoot and fix problems in production; report issues.
• Train new employees to production level 1.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; follow safety rules.
• Read and follow lockout/tagout procedures and emergency stops.
• Operate and adjust equipment, read gauges, and monitor quality.
