Job summary

Kemin is hiring full-time Production Operators for its Missouri campus, with positions at Verona and Sarcoxie. The role involves assembling materials, operating equipment, data entry, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Related experience in Production is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work at Verona and Sarcoxie sites as needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods and to climb stairs.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 55 lbs.
• Ability to read, understand and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process raw materials for production.
• Operate equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report issues.
• Sample, package, seal, label, palletize and wrap products correctly.
• Enter data into computer system.
• Operate a forklift.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures and Food Safety Standards.
• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Ensure finished product quality and safety for pets.

• Ability to stand for long periods and to climb stairs.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 55 lbs.
• Ability to solve basic problems.
• Ability to read, understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOP's).
