Job summary

AMETEK is seeking a Production Operator in Southington, CT. You will monitor machines, interpret control panel displays, and perform rework or adjustments as needed to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include following blueprints and work orders, transporting materials, returning excess stock, and supporting general production duties as assigned. This role requires adherence to safety and quality procedures and may involve lifting and daily factory tasks.

• May sort or rework parts.
• May replace and adjust cutting device.
• Prepare, fill, label, and transport packages per work instruction.
• Remove and transport finished work pieces and packages as specified making sure to protect material from damage while handling.
• Work from blueprints, work orders and instructions from supervisor.
• Obtain material, trays and carriers.
• Return excess material to inventory.
• Perform any other related duties and assignments as required.

Job description
