Job summary

CertainTeed, a Saint-Gobain subsidiary located on the Ohio River in Silver Grove, Kentucky, is hiring a Production Operator to work on the wallboard production line. Shift hours vary, with starting wage of $21 per hour plus a $2.00 night-shift differential.

You'll follow safety rules, operate continuous production equipment, keep a clean 5S workstation, and document production steps to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (Required).
• Manufacturing experience: 1 year (Preferred).
• Excellent team working skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shift.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all safety rules and demonstrate knowledge of safe operating procedures.
• Work amongst continuous running production equipment.
• Maintain well organized and clean workstation in a 5S manufacturing environment.
• Update required documentation in support of efficient production processes and to ensure a quality product.
• Perform to all quality expectations, isolate and report all defects, ensure that product meets all dimensional and cosmetic standards, and adhere to all SOP standards.
• Communicate efficiently and professionally with coworkers, other shifts, and other departments.
• Utilize tap measure for quality checks and utilize computer systems/HMI screen regularly.
• Count and maintain accurate inventory records as needed.

Compensation: Starting wage $21/hour PLUS a $2.00 shift differential for night shift

Production Operator Duties:

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the pay rate for this position, which is $21.00per hour, plus nightshift differential of $2.00/hr. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus based on company and individual performance measures. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and, by nature, can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

  Additional Pay Incentives for This Role Include:

  • Shift Differentials: $21.00/hour plus Night Shift Differential of $2.00/hr)
  • Standard Overtime (Hourly Rate * 1.5)
