IFF is seeking a Production Operator in Rockland, ME for on-site work in the Food Ingredients unit. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial equipment.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and production documentation.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Driver's license required.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor extraction line equipment to ensure safe, efficient production.

• Perform routine inspections of equipment, raw materials, and finished products to maintain operational excellence.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report process deviations, equipment malfunctions, and safety concerns.
• Complete production records, operational logs, and system documentation accurately and timely.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and assist with basic equipment troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to achieve production goals.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs, and safety requirements.

Where You'll Make a Difference

• Operate and monitor extraction line equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production.
• Adjust machine settings and process controls to meet production requirements and quality standards.

How You Would Stand Out
