Production Worker

PeopleReady of Richmond, IN is now hiring Production Workers! As a Production Worker, you will assemble and inspect products and ensure that manufactured products meet quality standards.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17 - $17 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Production Worker:

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and production machinery
• Set up, operate, and monitor paper tube winding machinery
• Load and unload materials used in the manufacturing processAdjust machine settings, cutting blades, and equipment to meet production specifications
• Assist with the production and assembly of products and components
• Measure materials and finished products using appropriate measuring tools
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment
• Assist with machine troubleshooting and routine equipment maintenance
• Remove scrap materials and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow production schedules, safety procedures, and company guidelines
• Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
• Perform additional production duties as assigned by supervisors

Shift Timings: 3rd Shift (Night)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and product specifications
• Ability to use measuring tools
• High school diploma or GED
• Forklift certification and valid driver's license
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
• Backgound check and drug test required
