Job summary

Qorvo, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator in Richardson, TX to support wafer fabrication operations. You will perform manual operations on fabrication equipment, assist with process tasks, and participate in shift pass-downs to ensure smooth production flow.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, good English communication, and basic Excel/computer skills; you must be able to stand 12-hour shifts and lift 10+ lbs. Training is provided, with overtime opportunities and day-one benefits.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Clean room, semiconductor manufacturing, or technical manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral; ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Solid fundamental Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
  • Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts and lift 10+ lbs.
  • Ability to complete tasks requiring careful handling while learning through on-the-job training.
  • Strong work ethics in terms of attendance, organization, and teamwork.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, gowning up in coveralls, hoods, boots, safety glasses and gloves.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual operations on wafer fabrication equipment and work closely with the factory management team to prioritize job tasks.
  • Handle chemicals, microscope inspections, run precision equipment, and process wafers to comply with specifications and other requirements.
  • Attend shift pass-down meetings and communicate daily activities.
  • Reads, comprehends, and follows required safety policies.
  • Assist process engineers, depending on skill set, in performing experimental procedures.
  • Update documentation on procedures on an as-needed basis.
