Job summary

Qorvo, Inc. in Richardson, TX is seeking an Electrical/Device Engineering Intern to support DC/RF test, data analysis, and process improvement within the Global Operations group.

The internship offers real work experience, mentoring from industry experts, and exposure to upper management with possible full-time opportunities based on business needs and performance. You will collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to develop practical skills in semiconductor fabrication

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong data analysis skills with statistics-based arguments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Spotfire, SharePoint, and CAD preferred.
• Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced engineers in DC/RF test, measurement, and data analysis.
• Document existing PCM processes and characterization focus.
• Improve monitoring of critical inline process monitors.
• Support Fab operations by maintaining Yield web reports.
• Analyze test data to correlate with fabrication process.
• Develop and improve semiconductor fabrication flows and processes.

Qorvo’sDevice Engineering Internshipsare offered in our Global Operations business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assistexperienced engineers in DC/RF test, measurement, and data analysis


• Document existing process control modules (PCM) and their characterization focus


• Improve monitoring of critical inline process monitors.


• SupportingFab operationsby maintaining and improving Yield web reports


• Analysis and correlation of test data to fabrication process


• Developing and improving semiconductor fabrication flows and processes, in some cases

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing aBS,MS, PhD in ElectricalEngineering,IndustrialEngineering,ComputerScience, or related fields


• Strong data analysis skills(statistic based arguments)


• Proficiency withMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)


• Knowledge of Spotfire, SharePoint, CAD preferred


• Self-Starter with strong written and verbal communication skills


• Strong organization skills and attention to detail

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.

Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr - $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location)

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
