Production Operator

This position is responsible for the daily operations of the production floor; ensuring the shift meets established safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements.

Essential Functions
  • Responsible for daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring product adheres to Niagara’s safety, quality, and throughput standards.
  • Completes quality and production reports hourly; performs physical and visual inspection to prevent non-conforming goods; reports defects to team members and leadership.
  • Follows safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations diligently.
  • Adheres to Niagara’s GMP and Food Safety Standards at all times.
  • Maintains general housekeeping in all production areas.
  • Ensures adequate raw materials to minimize downtime.
  • Works in all assigned production areas, troubleshooting minor issues and performing relief duties as needed.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
  • Willing to work 12-hour shifts, day or night, on rotating schedules or as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in manufacturing or similar environment
