Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. in Minnesota seeks a Production Operator on a 12-hour shift (4:45 AM to 5:07 PM) to support front-line production, operate machinery, and package final products.

This role is part of our Dairy Food business and involves safety, quality, and teamwork to meet daily production goals. Applicants should be 18+, with at least 1 year of work experience, basic computer and math skills, and strong English literacy.

Production Operator

Pay: $28.40 per hour

Hiring Bonus: $1500 ($500 at 90 days, $500 at 180 days, $500 at 1 year)

Shift & Working Hours: 12-hour Shift; 4:45 AM to 5:07 PM; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.

In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O'Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product. In this position as a Wet Rover duties include general production and material handling duties to support manufacturing operations, including sanitation, weighing and staging ingredients, mixing batches, and managing inventory. Operates process control systems and forklifts to move materials, issue ingredients to work orders, and ensure production requirements are met while maintaining safety, quality, and accuracy.

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year of manufacturing work experience
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
