Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.

• Able to lift 25–75 lbs regularly and up to 100+ lbs occasionally.
• Ability to climb, balance, kneel, crawl, push, pull and perform finger tasks.
• Ability to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Production Operator to unload empty cylinders, prepare and fill high-pressure cylinders, and load delivery trucks for distribution. The role involves safely operating and maintaining gas-filling equipment, performing required cylinder inspections and testing, maintaining accurate filling records, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The position also supports inventory, housekeeping, and customer assistance as needed.

Job Description

• Production facility environment where trucks are loaded manually (not from a loading dock). Forklifts are used strictly to move products within the facility
• As a Loader, you will unload empty cylinders from delivery trucks and move them to fill the racks and/or cylinder storage areas, and load trucks for delivery
• Load delivery trucks nightly
• Unload empty cylinders from the delivery truck and prepare them for reloading
• Ensure cylinders are adequately maintained; cylinders requiring maintenance or repair are removed from service until corrected
• Assist with inventory and general housekeeping

Skills Required

• Ability to perform work while standing for up to 8 hours
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, crouch, reach, grasp, feel, and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to perform very heavy work, routinely lifting 25-75 lbs. and occasionally lifting 76 to greater than 100 lbs.
• Ability to occasionally climb, balance, kneel, crawl, push, pull, and perform finger activities
• Ability to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to pass a drug screening and criminal background check

Physical Demands

• Highly physically demanding role in a desert climate
• Seasonal temperatures are cooling down significantly for fall and winter
• Should be interested in a physically intensive position

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
• Weekends are generally off; occasional Saturday work is rare
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Currently running up to 50-60 hours per week maximum

Pay Rate/Salary

• $20.00/hr. Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location
