Airgas in Austin, TX is hiring a Production Operator Filler to fill and repackage gases into cylinders. You will conduct pre-fill and post-fill inspections, test cylinders, and maintain accurate filling records following safety procedures.

The role requires forklift operation, ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly and up to 125 pounds occasionally, and eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 4:00 am–12:00 pm with full benefits after 30 days.

You will make and/or repackage and pump compressed and liquefied gases into cylinders. In particular, you will:

• Conduct pre-fill and post-fill inspections and preform tests on cylinders before they are released for distribution.
• Fill cylinders to the proper capacity by following safety guidelines and manufacturing procedures.
• Accurately maintain cylinder filling records and ensure all required procedures are followed in order to comply with local, state and federal regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a valid forklift operator’s license.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 60 pounds and occasionally move up to 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
• Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.

• Prior forklift experience
• Prior gas cylinder handling and filling experience
• Prior industry experience
