Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a dependable Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate production equipment, manage quality inspections, and collaborate across departments to keep our operations running safely and efficiently.

Shifts include Day, Evening, and Night with an hourly rate of $18.94–$23.99. Benefits start on day one, and you will have opportunities to cross-train and grow within the plant.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED OR 3+ years manufacturing experience.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications.
  • Ability to stand/walk up to 80% of a shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Lift Truck Operator license required.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, calibrate, and operate basic manufacturing equipment and tools.
  • Conduct material inspections and maintain quality logs.
  • Participate in root-cause analysis and suggest process improvements.
  • Collaborate to ensure safety and 5S cleanliness standards are met.
  • Cross-train across multiple technical functions as production priorities shift.

Job Description

In this role, you will play a vital part in our facility's success by operating production equipment, managing quality control inspections, and collaborating across departments to keep our operations running safely and efficiently. What You'll Do (Day-to-Day)

Operate & Maintain: Set up, calibrate, and operate basic manufacturing equipment and tools.

Quality Control: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to conduct material inspections, verify product specifications, and maintain detailed quality logs.

Problem Solve: Participate in root-cause analysis to address quality issues and suggest process enhancements.

Collaborate: Partner with team members to ensure safety protocols and 5S cleanliness standards are met.

Cross-Train: Actively learn multiple technical functions and fill operational gaps as production priorities shift.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring (Requirements)

High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience.

Proficiency with basic computer applications.

Ability to stand/walk for up to 80% of a shift and safely lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to obtain a Lift Truck Operator’s license.

Flexibility to work overtime as requested.

Shifts & Compensation

A Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

B Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

C Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

The hourly rate for this position is $18.94-$23.99 / hour.
The hiring wage rate range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range.
