Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in New Hudson, MI is seeking a Production Operator to produce high-quality engineered products in a safe manner. You will operate equipment, collate and package parts, and ensure machines run efficiently while meeting quality standards.

You will report to Production Supervisors and Team Leads. You will train in collating/packaging, troubleshoot minor issues, prepare clean work areas, and collaborate with the team to achieve maximum efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Safety and quality come first.
• Ability to measure parts (thickness gauging and coating weights).
• Basic computer skills required.
• Punctual and team-oriented.
• Grip, push and pull carts; lift up to 50 lbs; stand for the shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collate and package parts.
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment for machine efficiency.
• Keep work area clean and organized for next shift.
• Collaborate with team to maximize machine performance and quality.
• Maintain daily history sheets and manufacturing paperwork with accurate data.
• May be trained to drive a fork truck.
• Manufacture cassettes as needed.
• Enter items into ERP system as necessary.
• Handle other related duties as assigned.

Job description

As a Production Operator, your mission is to beresponsible for producing high quality custom engineered products in a safe manner. Employees may work in different areas of production, including Cold-Heading, Heat Treat, Plating and Collation. You will be responsible for safely operating equipment, collating and packaging parts, and ensuring machines run efficiently while meeting quality standards. You will report to the Production Supervisors and/or Team Leads.

You will

• Always work in a safe manner.
• Train and become competent in collating and packaging parts.
• Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to ensure machine efficiency.
• Ensure work area is prepped, clean and organized for next shift.
• Partner with team to ensure machines run to maximum efficiency and meeting all quality standards.
• Work closely with colleagues, with a strong emphasis on team work, minor maintenance, ensuring all quality requirements are met.
• Ensure daily history sheets, manufacturing packs and all other related paperwork are filled out correctly and ensuringall data is recorded.
• May be required to receive training and drive a fork truck.
• Manufacture cassettes as needed.
• Enter items into ERP system as necessary.
• Other related duties as assigned.
