Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC is seeking a Production Operator to safely produce high-quality engineered products across multiple production areas, including Cold-Heading, Heat Treat, Plating and Collation. You will operate equipment, collate parts and ensure machines run efficiently while maintaining quality standards.

You will report to Production Supervisors or Team Leads and may receive forklift training. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

  • Ability to measure parts and perform thickness gauging and coating weights.
  • Proficient with basic computer skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and position parts up to 50lbs.
  • Standing for duration of shift.
  • Grip, push and pull carts.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment safely to produce high quality parts.
  • Collate and package parts and ensure efficient machine operation.
  • Troubleshoot minor issues and adjust for quality and efficiency.
  • Keep work area clean and organized for next shift.
  • Record daily history sheets and ERP entries accurately.
  • Support with fork truck training if needed.
  • Produce cassettes as required.
  • Enter items into ERP system as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your role

As a Production Operator, your mission is to beresponsible for producing high quality custom engineered products in a safe manner. Employees may work in different areas of production, including Cold-Heading, Heat Treat, Plating and Collation. You will be responsible for safely operating equipment, collating and packaging parts, and ensuring machines run efficiently while meeting quality standards. You will report to the Production Supervisors and/or Team Leads.

You will
  • Always work in a safe manner.
  • Train and become competent in collating and packaging parts.
  • Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to ensure machine efficiency.
  • Ensure work area is prepped, clean and organized for next shift.
  • Partner with team to ensure machines run to maximum efficiency and meeting all quality standards.
  • Work closely with colleagues, with a strong emphasis on team work, minor maintenance, ensuring all quality requirements are met.
  • Ensure daily history sheets, manufacturing packs and all other related paperwork are filled out correctly and ensuringall data is recorded.
  • May be required to receive training and drive a fork truck.
  • Manufacture cassettes as needed.
  • Enter items into ERP system as necessary.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
