Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring Production Associates for our Corrugated facility in Huntsville, AL. Starting at $22.29/hr with potential up to $25.64/hr as early as Week 2, plus $1 shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Orientation begins on 1st shift; 2nd or 3rd shift assigned after orientation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse, military environment or completion of post high school education in manufacturing/industrial.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets.
• Monitor and/or entry into computer control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
• Perform basic asset care duties including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area.
• Work as a team to meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
• Maintain safety rules and wear safety equipment.
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and pulling for up to 12 hours a day in a loud industrial environment.

Georgia-Pacific is now hiring Production Associates to join our Corrugated facility in Huntsville, AL!

• Starting at $22.29/hr. with earning potential up to $25.64/hr. as early as Week 2!
• 2nd Shift Differential – $1 per hour
• 3rd Shift Differential – $1 per hour
• You will have the ability to increase your compensation based on skills and contribution to the overall performance of the plant.

Shift:

• Only candidates who are flexible and available to work any shift will be considered. This will include overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Currently hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift only.No 1st shift available.
• The first 2 weeks of orientation will be on 1st shift (7am - 3pm), and you will be assigned your 2nd OR 3rd shift after your orientation.

Shift Hours:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Starts Sunday night)
• Overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• No rotating shifts

Must be available and flexible to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

What You Will Do

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• (1) one year of experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse, military environment, or similar environment OR completion of post high school education in manufacturing/industrial.

• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device
• Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry
