The Meadville, Pennsylvania facility is 135,000 square feet and home to about 290 hard‑working team members who proudly produce iconic pet food brands. The location is along the banks of French Creek in Northwestern Pennsylvania, 45 minutes from Pittsburgh. Meadville has over 13,000 full‑time residents, 2,000 students, and active business, industry, education, arts, recreation, service, and tourism communities.
Operates and monitors production and distribution equipment and processes. Supports the entire line of equipment, ensuring all required materials and ingredients are staged and available. Assists with timely changeovers, responds safely to upset conditions, diverts product, clears jams, starts and stops processes, and recognizes failure patterns to adjust or request resources. Supports root‑cause analysis and implements corrective actions, maintains knowledge of SQF requirements, and performs Basic Equipment Care tasks accurately and on time. Manages material handling equipment, follows SOPs and food‑safety requirements, cleans equipment following GMP, records production data for measuring waste and efficiency, and trains or coaches other employees. Completes duties efficiently while supporting plant safety, quality, and environmental practices, maintaining clean work areas, and performing sanitation tasks. May participate in special projects, assignments, or additional training. Assists in other areas as requested.
