Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assemble and package product using hand tools, portable power tools, or equipment.
• Lift and obtain parts for assembly or packaging; may lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Read and operate or complete product per written work instructions.
• Read, measure, evaluate, and meet quality/dimensional requirements from blueprints.
• Produce to quality standards documented in the Quality Management System.
• Adhere to Environmental, Health and Safety requirements in the EHSMS.
• Meet expected work standards for production and quality.
• Complete records including Production, Quality, Set Up, Kronos payroll, labels, and process tags.
• Perform normal housekeeping and TPM activities.
• Follow safety rules and plant policies at all times.
• Follow directions from supervision or management as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Individuals performing this position will be expected to perform the following duties and responsibilities:

1. Assemble/Package product using hand tools, portable power tools, other equipment or machines as instructed.
2. Lift, differentiate, and obtain parts or components for assembly or packaging of product, (weight of part containers or boxes may equal 35 lbs; occasionally operator may be required to lift 50 lbs. with assistance).
3. Read and operate or complete product as defined in written work instructions.
4. Read, measure, evaluate and complete product to quality and dimensional requirements as defined in product blueprints and our quality standards.
5. Perform to and meet quality requirements as documented within our Quality Management System.
6. Perform to and meet Environmental, Health and Safety requirements as documented within our Environmental, Health and Safety Management System.
7. Perform to expected work standards for the position, i.e. meeting production and quality requirements.
8. Complete necessary documentation, including but not limited to the following:
   1. Production Records
   2. Quality Records
   3. Set Up Records
   4. Kronos Usage for Payroll
   5. Packaging Labels or Shipping Identification Tags
   6. Process Tags
9. Perform normal housekeeping duties and TPM as required.
10. Responsible for performing within all safety rules and plant policies at all times.
11. Follow directions from supervision or other members of management as required.
