Simcote in Marion, Ohio is seeking a Production Operator to set up and operate machinery for epoxy coating and fabrication of rebar. The ideal candidate will ensure product quality and timely delivery while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities include reviewing work orders, operating equipment, and keeping accurate production records. A minimum of 6 months on-the-job training is required, along with basic math skills and the ability to comprehend work orders.
The Production Operator is responsible for setting up and operating machinery to epoxy coat and fabricate rebar in accordance with work orders and shop drawings. This role ensures product quality and supports timely delivery to customers.
Bender, shear, CNC, overhead cranes, forklift, cutters, hand tools, tags and bands, measuring devices, angle finder.
PPE required: steel toe safety shoes; provided: earplugs, safety glasses, gloves and hard hats.
Materials and products handled: Rebar and paint.
Heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, and other potential work hazards.
