Job description

Production Operator

SHIFT: 2nd Shift 1 pm - 9 pm Monday - Friday

PAY: $23.31 per hour

Join our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team as a Production Operator, where you will perform front-line production processes that add value and ensure quality of our final products. You will gain skills in operating machinery, packaging, and taking raw materials to finished products for our customers. Become part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow.

This role supports our Purina Animal Nutrition business, serving producers and animal owners across the U.S., by innovating nutritional products and practices to maximize animal health and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety processes and promote safety practices for yourself and others
• Be punctual, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes
• Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet production demands
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and standard operating procedures during production
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Collaborate with Leads and Management to complete daily assignments

Required Experience and Skills:

• Must be 18 years or older
• At least 1 year of work experience in any industry
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions in English
• Willingness to learn, problem-solve, and troubleshoot
• Strong communication and respectful collaboration skills

Preferred Experience:

• Over 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Machine operation and forklift experience

Physical Requirements:

• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement: walking, standing, bending, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, climbing
• Work in environments with temperature variations, dust, and chemicals while wearing PPE
