We are seeking a Plant Production Operator to join our team!

A growing construction material manufacturer is looking for Plant Operators and Equipment Operators to join their organization for full-time positions in the Eddystone, PA area. You will report directly to the Plant Manager and are responsible for the operation of processing equipment and heavy machinery. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing operation and team, while also contributing to reducing waste materials and helping the environment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely perform work and adhere to all company policies related to the company's Health and Safety program.
• Monitor and adjust plant equipment to ensure the product is consistent and free from quality defects.
• Follow established equipment operating guidelines and be able to recognize issues as they arise
• Ensure equipment is performing correctly.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regularly.
• Log and record equipment settings and product quality information on a routine basis.
• Report on condition and items in need of maintenance.
• Operate wheel loader and forklift equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields
• Familiarity with basic tools and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Work a 12-hour schedule that requires employees to work the day shift or night shift, including every other weekend. One week is 36 hours, and the following week is 48 hours. Training is a 4-hour shift every other week.
• Must be able to perform all duties, including standing and squatting for extended periods, working in an environment with dust and noise, and around equipment with higher than ambient temperatures.
