Job summary

A leading beverage company in Kansas City is looking for a Production Operator. In this entry-level role, you will operate production equipment, adhere to safety policies, and ensure quality standards are met. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma and be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Forklift experience is preferred. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits from day one of employment.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Prior experience in clean manufacturing preferred.
  • Production experience in a food and beverage environment is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends.
  • PPE required: safety shoes, hair nets, goggles, ear plugs.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain production equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform manual tasks, including loading production items.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
  • Conduct general facility clean up.
  • Follow Company Safety Policy, including lock out/tag out.

Factory Location: Kansas City, KS

Compensation: $20.50 per hour

Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours worked

Schedule: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, Monday – Friday

Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for start‑up, operation, change over, shut down and preventative maintenance of assigned production equipment. Equipment may include production line equipment, forklifts or other power equipment.
  • Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently following the Company Safety Policy, including the lock out/tag out process.
  • Perform manual tasks such as loading and supplying production line items, reworking product and loading conveyors.
  • Quality Assurance and testing compliance according to Company and/or designated facility standards.
  • Provide general plant, production line and facility clean up (5S).
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in clean manufacturing preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Production experience, preferably in a food and beverage environment.
  • Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency.
  • Work efficiently self‑directed or in a team environment.
  • Physically able to safely lift bottles and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends.
  • Ability to inspect materials visually and by sense of smell.
  • PPE Required (safety shoes, hair nets, goggles, ear plugs).
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity. The noise level may be loud at times.
