Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Production Operator at its Irvine, CA facility to support production operations, maintain quality standards, and contribute to a safe, efficient plant environment. The role covers 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift with starting pay of $21.59 per hour.

Responsibilities include equipment setup across departments, adjustments, Inkjet printer operation and maintenance, and detailed production reporting. English communication is essential for daily operations and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Able to lift 10–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Set-Up & Operation of all equipment within multiple departments.
• Make equipment adjustments as needed.
• Operate and clean Inkjet printer and care for the Inkjet heads.
• Perform various mechanical tasks in the operation of all equipment.
• Write and prepare detailed production reports.
• Utilize simple formulas, drawings, etc.
• Communicate clearly in English in verbal and written contexts.

The impact you'll make in this role

As a Production Operator, you'll be responsible for supporting production operations, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient plant environment.

This role works either the 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift (depending on shift availability) and includes starting pay of $21.59/hour.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Set-Up & Operation of all equipment within multiple departments
• Make equipment adjustments as needed
• Operate and clean Inkjet printer and provide care for the Inkjet heads
• Perform various mechanical tasks in the operation of all equipment
• Write and prepare detailed production reports
• Utilize simple formulas, drawings, etc.
• Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (completed prior to start)

Nice to Have Qualifications

• Six (6) months of manufacturing experience
• Experience in medical or dental manufacturing environment
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed
• Ability to work either a first, second or third shift, depending on shift availability
• Ability to lift 10 - 50 lbs or more

The starting rate of pay for this position is $21.59/hr, with the potential to reach $27.69/hr. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
