Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Machine Operator at our onsite Brookings, SD facility to support production operations and maintain quality standards. The role offers 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts with starting pay of $25.12/hour plus shift differentials, located at 601 22nd Ave S, Brookings, SD 57006-2821.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of machine operator experience or 3 years in a similar role; overtime and weekend work possible, with English communication required for

• Ability to work either an 8, 10, or 12 hour shift
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment, inspect and pack product safely according to standards.
• Perform tests at high quality per specifications.
• Support the team with other Operators and Service Groups to optimize processes and ensure timely product flow.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and problem solving.

As a Machine Operator, you’ll be responsible for supporting production operations, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient plant environment.

This role works either an 8, 10 or 12 hour shift (depending on shift availability) and includes starting pay of $25.12/hour plus shift differentials.

Responsibilities include but not limited to

• Operating production equipment, inspecting, and packing product safely and according to standards.
• Performing tests at a high quality of standards set by quality specifications.
• Supporting the team when working with other Operators and Service Groups to optimize processes, including timeliness of product flow.
• Contributing to continuous improvement and problem solving.
• Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.

The starting rate of pay for this position is $25.12/hr, with the potential for future pay increases. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
