100Hires, Inc. is recruiting for a production operator to join our client's facilities in Holden, MA. The role involves setting up and running blending and extrusion equipment, following recipe-based procedures, and maintaining accurate production records.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in blending/mixing/extrusion, basic troubleshooting, and ability to lift up to 55 lbs in a dusty chemical environment. Shifts are 2nd and 3rd with competitive hourly pay and reliable transportation required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in blending, mixing, extrusion, or plastics/chemical manufacturing.
• Able to set up and operate production machinery; basic troubleshooting experience.
• Basic computer literacy for production documentation (MS Office intermediate).
• Physically able to lift 55 lbs regularly; comfortable in a chemical and dusty industrial environment.
• Available for 2nd shift; reliable transportation to Holden, MA (7 miles northwest of Worcester).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate blending and extrusion machinery following operating and safety procedures.
• Weigh ingredients to recipe specification; ensure correct materials are in your work area.
• Monitor production equipment; troubleshoot basic processing issues and escalate when needed.
• Examine finished materials to ensure they meet quality standards; take lab samples when required.
• Complete required system transactions, production logs, and documentation.
• Perform machine cleaning and maintain housekeeping standards throughout your shift.
• Follow all safety, ISO, and EHS rules; wear required PPE at all times.
