Job summary

IFF in Hazlet, NJ is seeking a Production Operator to operate machinery along the production line, with heavy equipment handling, and to support manufacturing and packaging on the first shift.

You will set up and run equipment, perform quality checks, document materials and outputs, maintain clean and safe work areas, and help improve efficiency while following safety protocols.

As Production Operator you will operate machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. You may be expected to handle heavy machinery. This position is fully onsite in Hazlet, USA for the First Shift .

• Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and shut down manufacturing machinery, including extruders or computer-controlled tools.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications, using tools like automatic optical inspectors.
• Maintenance & Cleaning: Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and keep the work area clean.
• Monitoring & Efficiency: Monitor production processes to optimize performance, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
• Reporting & Documentation: Record data regarding materials used and products produced, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and health regulations to prevent hazards.
