Job Description
Who will you be working with?

The Wabtec Rubber Products team manufactures rubber products for Transportation and Industrial customers globally. The team is dynamic, versatile, and motivated, consisting of seasoned veterans, developing machinists, and young talent. All are eager to grow, support customers, and support each other. You will work independently with a strong support system around you.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Wabtec Rubber Products team, you will produce high-quality components for industries including transportation, power generation, and industrial sectors. Our end users rely on us to provide solutions to their challenges.

What do we want to know about you?
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Recent experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with rubber or plastics preferred.
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and work orders.
  • Willingness to work any shift, overtime, and weekends on short notice.
  • Most positions will be for an off shift.
What will your typical day look like?
  • Follow process sheets and instructions.
  • Use measuring devices such as weigh scales and pyrometers.
  • Operate material handling equipment like hoists, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
  • Work around hot molds/presses when loading and unloading.
  • Inspect parts for defects visually.
  • Trim and package parts.
  • Use pre-heating ovens.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Document and communicate actions and irregularities across shifts.
  • Use tools like knives and shears for trimming.
Physical Demands
  • Stand, walk, sit for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Wear safety glasses regularly.

The hourly rate is in the range of $19.00 - $23.00 per hour. The actual salary may vary based on experience, skills, and other factors. More benefits information is available at mywabtecbenefits.com.
