Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a manufacturing operator for our Garland, TX facility. You will operate all manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently, meet production standards on assignments, and maintain clean, organized work areas.

You will contribute to safety and quality throughout the production process, perform quality inspections, and assist with changeovers. Weekend or overtime availability may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a fast-paced, Manufacturing Environment.
• Willingness and ability to communicate effectively with peers, supervisors and other levels of the organization.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic Math skills such as addition, subtraction and taking measurements.
• Willing to work weekends or overtime as needed based on business need.

• Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space.
• Responsible for safety and quality throughout the production process, including following all safety procedures and performing manual and visual quality inspection of products.
• Responsible for cleaning equipment and area before, during, and after shift.
• May be responsible for sorting product to ensure quality shipments.
• Assist in changeovers when needed.
• Work directly with team members to meet all safety, quality and productivity goals.
• Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager.
