Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Work to effectively and efficiently meet production and quality goals.
  • Use machines to grind batches, package, shrink-wrap pallets and move to the warehouse.
  • Safely use a forklift to transport product between production and the warehouse.
  • Report any equipment/process problems to the Production Supervisor and assist Maintenance in troubleshooting as required.
  • Assist in making batches or helping operators in separating product to be loaded into bins or totes.
  • Take samples of product to the QA lab for testing.
  • Assist with the change over or cleaning of machine equipment.
  • Ensure all products have proper labels and are stored properly when not in use.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices such as cleaning floors and other tasks as assigned in the housekeeping schedule.
  • Assist batch makers when directed by supervisors.
  • Unload truck loads of empty drums when needed.
  • Maintain ISO 9001 standards in the plant and all quality requirements in internal manuals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a responsible person with a safety first attitude to join ourproduction team as an Operator. In this role you will need to bephysically fit to help move, stack, and lift product bags either onto askid or add into a mixer. You will be moving product with a fork lift,so a valid licence is an asset, between the warehouse and the productionfloor for operators.
