Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking Production Operators for an established manufacturing company in Alachua, Florida. The overnight shift runs 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, with 12-hour shifts and regular days off. You will operate and monitor equipment, load materials, inspect quality, maintain records, and support setup and changeovers. A strong focus on safety and reliability is required, with opportunities to advance into technical, maintenance, or leadership

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production or machine-operation experience is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn industrial equipment.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour overnight schedule.
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials safely throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to safety, quality and detail.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing and production equipment.

• Inspect products for quality, measurements and visible defects.
• Monitor equipment and report mechanical or production problems.
• Assist with equipment setup, changeovers and routine adjustments.
• Package, stack, palletize or prepare finished products for movement.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Keep the assigned work area clean, organized and free of hazards.
• Follow all safety, quality and production procedures.
• Work cooperatively with machine operators, maintenance personnel and supervisors.

Pay: $20 per hour
Location: Alachua, Florida
Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 overnight schedule, 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.

Compensation and Benefits

The position starts at $20 per hour. After permanent hire, the company offers an excellent compensation and benefits package that includes:
