This position involves quality inspection duties in a manufacturing environment, specifically inspecting shingles for correctness and measuring products. Candidates must have relevant experience in quality inspection and testing, with a focus on visual and measurement checks.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of experience in a quality inspection or quality lab position within a manufacturing setting, using lab instrumentation.
• If holding a post-secondary education, must have at least 3 years of related experience; without, at least 5 years of experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mandatory safety training, protective gear, and chemical handling procedures compliance.
• Strong reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn additional training.
• Must pass a competency test prior to interview.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am), with potential training on day shifts.

Work Schedule

Fixed Pitman schedule with 12-hour shifts, working in a 2-3-2 pattern (two days on, two off, three on, two off), on a rotating basis between day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform line inspection duties, including visual checks and measurements.
• Conduct routine audits and maintain 5S standards in the work area.
• Make quality decisions and support operations by stopping the line if necessary.
• Enter data accurately into required systems.
• Follow SOPs, labels, instructions, and specifications.
• Work independently or as part of a team, maintaining good communication.
• Collaborate with production personnel to resolve quality issues and assess product compliance.
• Follow safety policies, company conduct guidelines, and maintain general housekeeping.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and climb ladders safely.
