**POSITION SUMMARY:**

Initially focused on producing livestock feed, the plant transitioned into a pet food-only manufacturer in 1972. Notably, our Denver location became the first-ever pet food factory to harness the power of solar energy. Our Production Operators are the feeder group for all production-based operator positions within various production departments, which include Unloading, Dry Pet Processing, and Dry Pet Packing. Team members go through a training period and afterwards will be moved to one of several critical factory positions to operate, including Extruder Operator, Utility, Packing Operator, etc.

+ Train on specific production equipment/machinery in a safe and productive manner.

+ Provide support to operators in Unloading, Processing, and Packing.

+ Run unloading, processing, and packing equipment, and serve as backups to operator positions in various departments.

+ Troubleshoot and complete preventative maintenance/clean and inspect checklist for equipment

+ Effectively work with interdepartmental personnel to maintain a good flow of safety, quality, and production information throughout the plant.

+ Operate a forklift as needed.

**Requirements**

+ 1+ years of experience operating and troubleshooting machinery/equipment in a manufacturing, production, agricultural, military, or related environment.

**Other**

+ This position requires a flexible work schedule.

+ You may be required to work a 2nd or 3rd shift.

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $28.53. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
