Position Summary

The Production Operator is responsible for performing assigned manufacturing and assembly tasks in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner. This role involves verifying materials, monitoring product quality, completing required documentation, and properly labeling materials. The Production Operator is expected to promptly communicate any safety concerns, equipment issues, or process deviations to leadership, maintain tools and gauges, and keep a clean and organized work area. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support production operations.

Schedule
  • Monday through Thursday
  • 10-hour shifts
  • Overtime as needed based on business demands
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate production equipment safely and efficiently
  • Verify materials, label parts, and ensure products meet quality standards
  • Complete required documentation accurately
  • Report equipment, material, or safety issues to supervisors
  • Maintain tools, work area, and follow 5S and safety procedures
  • Perform other duties as needed to support production
Required Qualifications
  • Physically able to perform repetitive motions requiring fine dexterity
  • Ability to operate machines in accordance with standard work instructions
  • Working knowledge of Epicor (preferred or required depending on role)
  • Ability to meet production standards
  • Knowledge and application of 5S principles
  • Ability to produce quality parts consistently
  • Ability to follow all safety protocols and procedures
  • Able to lift up to 45 lbs occasionally
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Responsible and self-motivated
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs on occasion and perform physical tasks as required
  • Temperature may vary depending on production area
  • Collaborative team environment with emphasis on safety and quality
  • Must wear required protective equipment, including ANSI Z87.1-2003 standard safety glasses when in the plant
