Job Overview

The Production Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely. There are three levels (I, II, III), determined by experience and ability to troubleshoot independently. The role involves operating equipment such as industrial blenders in accordance with the production schedule.

Responsibilities

1. Follow all safety rules and procedures.
2. Operate and maintain assigned machines following standard procedures.
3. Meet or exceed production output standards.
4. Ensure product quality and meet specifications.
5. Perform routine inspections and maintain accurate documentation.
6. Inspect equipment and materials for issues.
7. Follow work orders and formulas for production.
8. Weigh, measure, and add raw materials as required.
9. Transfer materials between work areas.
10. Discharge blenders and ensure quality conformity.
11. Set up, clean, and sanitize equipment before and after runs.
12. Complete cleaning logs and notify quality control.
13. Record operational data and report malfunctions.
14. Assess quality control and operational procedures continuously.
