General Purpose of the Job

The Production Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely. There are three levels (I, II, & III), determined by experience and ability to troubleshoot and operate independently. The role involves operating production equipment, including industrial blenders, according to the production schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform work safely by following all safety rules and procedures.
2. Operate and maintain assigned machines following standard procedures.
3. Meet or exceed production output standards.
4. Ensure products meet quality tolerances and specifications.
5. Perform routine inspections and maintain accurate paperwork.
6. Inspect equipment and materials for problems or defects.
7. Follow work orders and formulas to meet production standards.
8. Weigh, measure, and add raw materials as specified.
9. Transfer materials between work areas and ensure equipment is set up, cleaned, and operating properly.
10. Complete cleaning logs and notify quality control for hygiene testing.
11. Record operational data and report malfunctions for maintenance.
12. Assess quality control and operational procedures continually.

Education and Experience

• No formal education or experience required.
