General Production Operator - Only candidates with a resume or complete previous and current work experience will be considered - Only hiring on Night Shift

As a part of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible for supporting production packaging and processing operations, sanitation, and participation in startup, operation, changeover, and shutdown of operating equipment.

Shift hours: You only work 15 to 16 days a month!

• 12-hour shifts - 2 on followed by 2 off, 3 on followed by 2 off, 2 on followed by 3 off
• • Day shift: 6 am to 6 pm
  • Night shift: 6 pm to 6 am

Pay:

• $26.72 per hour after all requirements are met (160 days) - Night Shift
• $25.44 per hour after orientation (90 days) - Night Shift
• $21.42 per hour starting - Night Shift
• $26.72 per hour after all requirements are met (160 days) - Day Shift
• $25.44 per hour after orientation (90 days) - Day Shift
• $21.42 per hour starting - Day Shift
• $500 sign-on bonus paid after 90 days

• Troubleshoot problems with machinery and partner with maintenance staff to resolve issues
• Calibrate processing and packaging systems daily to meet required specifications

What you have to offer:

• Minimum of a high school education or GED
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfaces
• Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
• Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net, and gloves when required
• Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment
• Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions
• Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery
• Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment
