Basic Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Clearance Requirements: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at the time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

At General Dynamics Mission Systems, you'll lead a team of talented engineers in an environment that often involves classified technologies. Your role involves inventing and developing advanced solutions that help our service members, intelligence analysts, and first responders keep the nation safe. We apply cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native, and Quantum Physics to solve complex missions across cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar, and other domains.

As an Advanced Manufacturing / Production Operator, you will perform moderately complex tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly of electronic and mechanical components, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Your responsibilities include reading and interpreting schematics and drawings, wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, hardware assembly, electrical testing, and hardware/system rework and refurbishment.

Combined Salary Range

USD $23.94 - USD $25.68 per hour
