Job description

The Production Operator is responsible for manufacturing products per specification. The Operator must perform cleaning and sanitation requirements to meet Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.

What You'll Do for Us
  1. Operate machinery safely and efficiently to produce high-quality products daily.
  2. Troubleshoot machinery issues.
  3. Ensure proper and accurate product, package, and code changes.
  4. Maintain equipment according to manufacturer and internal specifications, including creating work orders and collaborating with the maintenance team during rebuilds and repairs.
  5. Perform all CIP/COP duties and surface foaming with mechanical cleaning in all areas.
  6. Report and correct safety issues, maintaining proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings.
  7. Conduct quality inspections on materials and finished products, including checks on codes, seals, and weights.
  8. Notify responsible personnel of out-of-specification conditions and assist in resolution.
  9. Follow procedures for isolating hold products or defective materials.
  10. Participate in training, team meetings, and audits, and document all activities accurately during shifts.
  11. Comply with safety practices, rules, GMP, and 5S policies.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; additional education or certifications are a plus.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and ability to learn SAP Inventory Management.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
Technical Skills
  • Business Etiquette: Professional communication, diplomacy, tact, and maintaining composure to achieve results.
  • Database and System Knowledge: Ability to access and analyze data, complete electronic forms, produce reports, and conduct research.
  • Safety Procedures: Recognize and report safety issues, maintain a clean and safe work environment.
