Job description

Summary:

The Production Operator is responsible for running the ZED machine, filling tubes, and maintaining the Kentex K800-MS. The role includes general housekeeping of the workstation and keeping equipment clean.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs machine setup, repairs, adjustments, changeovers, and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Operates production equipment efficiently, minimizing downtime and utility usage.
• Completes the Cleanroom Use and Preparation form and follows all cleanroom policies and procedures.
• Cleans the Kentex machine and removes any glue residues.
• Reports discrepancies to supervisory personnel promptly.
• Promotes a positive work environment.
• Communicates inventory needs and equipment issues to Team Lead or Production Supervisor.
• Alerts Team Lead or Supervisor of any conflicts affecting production schedules.
• Maintains a safe and clutter-free workstation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Positive attitude, ability to multitask, and work well with others.

Skills:

• English required; Spanish is a plus.

Physical Demands:

• Requires walking, standing for extended periods, and may involve sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. May frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse and production floor are non-temperature-controlled; office is temperature-controlled.
