Protein Research is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Production Operations Technician to join our Production team in Livermore, CA. This hands-on role offers training, growth opportunities, and a chance to contribute to high-quality nutraceutical products.

You will assemble, operate, and fine-tune filling machines, monitor secondary equipment, perform unit conversions and packaging calculations, and maintain thorough production paperwork across shifts. Safety and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic math and mechanical skills are expected.
• Ability to perform unit and weight conversions and calculate yields.
• Strong attention to detail with clear paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, set up, and operate production filling machines.
• Make minor adjustments and fine-tune equipment to keep production running smoothly.
• Set up and monitor secondary equipment (printers, checkweighers, X-ray systems, metal detectors).
• Handle and store heavy and delicate equipment components safely.
• Complete production paperwork, line checks, and weight documentation.
• Perform unit conversions (grams, kilograms, pounds) and packaging calculations.
• Submit maintenance requests when needed.
• Stay detail-focused, safety-minded, and quality-driven throughout every shift.
