Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our Sloatsburg, NY lab and lead a high-performing production team. You will oversee all job production in the department, drive key metrics, and partner with Maintenance to optimize equipment and safety practices.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in production, strong people management skills, and a continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on safety and quality in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience in a high-volume operation.
• Extensive people management experience, leading 75+ associates.
• Obsessive about safety and quality with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all job production in the department, from picking, edging to shipment.
• Own metrics for the facility: safety incidents, deviations, OEE, labor efficiency.
• Maintain a safe working environment by supporting health and safety programs and OSHA compliance.
• Coach, mentor and develop employees through regular performance meetings.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to identify equipment improvements.
• Resolve bottlenecks to maintain continuous production flow and staffing as needed.
• Manage safety, quality performance and material waste reporting for the department.
• Identify opportunities to improve production objectives.
• Foster collaboration within the manufacturing operations team and lead by example.
• Participate in training and development activities for production staff.
